Hernán Oliu Lambert

Hernán Oliu Lambert is a skilled thoracic surgeon currently working at the Instituto Oncológico Regional del Cibao since May 2018. In addition, Hernán serves as a reviewer for both the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo and the International Journal of Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Science. Holding the position of Vicepresidente within the Comité de Bioética e Investigación en Ciencias de la Salud at Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago UTESA, Hernán also contributes academically as a professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. As a member of multiple professional societies including the International Society of Surgery, the European Respiratory Society, and the Asociación Latinoamericana de Tórax, Hernán has established a strong presence in the medical community. Hernán's educational background includes an MD from Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Santiago de Cuba and specialized master's degrees in bioethics and thoracic oncology.
