Sarah Cleveland

Sarah Cleveland is an experienced professional in the field of scientific publishing and education. Currently serving as Peer Review Coordinator and Acting Managing Editor of Breathe at the European Respiratory Society since February 2018, Sarah plays a critical role in the editorial processes of the organization. Prior to this position, Sarah worked as a Publishing Assistant at Springer Nature, focusing on the management of the peer-review process for Scientific Reports. Early professional experiences include an internship at Snowriders International, where Sarah gained insights into non-profit management, and roles at the University of Nottingham as an Undergraduate Ambassador and at the University of Leeds as a Student Assistant, both contributing to education and outreach in the sciences. Academically, Sarah holds a Master of Science in Atmosphere, Ocean and Climate from the University of Reading and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Nottingham.
