Rodrigo Sanchez Bayona

Rodrigo Sanchez Bayona is a dedicated medical oncologist at Hospital 12 de Octubre, actively contributing to the field through various roles, including Committee Member for the ESMO Young Oncologists Committee since May 2022 and Medical Advisor for SOLTI since February 2022. Additionally, Rodrigo has served as a Professor of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at Cursos Intensivos MIR Asturias since March 2017 and completed a postdoctoral research position at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre from June 2021 to December 2023, where Rodrigo held the title of Investigador Rio Hortega. Rodrigo earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Medicine and a Medical degree from the University of Navarra, completing studies between September 2008 and May 2014.
