Ida Gjervold Lunde

Ida Gjervold Lunde currently serves as the Head of the R&D section and group leader at the Oslo Center for Clinical Heart Research in the Department of Cardiology Ullevål at Oslo University Hospital since May 2023. In addition, Ida holds a position as a Professor of Medicine at the University of Oslo and is a work package leader at the KG Jebsen Center for Cardiac Biomarkers. Active in the European Society of Cardiology as an elected nucleus member of the Working Group of Myocardial Function, Ida has also been involved with the Cardiovascular Board of Nasjonalforeningen for folkehelsen since 2018. Previous roles include Head of Research at Akershus universitetssykehus and a long tenure at Oslo University Hospital, where research focused on the molecular mechanisms of heart failure. Ida's academic credentials include a PhD in Medical Faculty from the University of Oslo and postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School.
