Judit Castillo is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as a tenure-eligible lecturer at Universitat de Barcelona since October 2020 and holds the position of Associate Editor for the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) since January 2019. With extensive experience in scientific research, Judit has been affiliated with the Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS) as a Scientific Researcher since February 2017 and previously participated in the Network for Young Researchers in Andrology from June 2014 to October 2020, where the role of Treasurer was held. Judit was also a Marie Sklodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellow with Lead Pharma Medicine B.V within the Growsperm Consortium from January 2015 to December 2016 and completed a PhD at the University of Barcelona in 2014, focusing on the protein content of the human sperm nucleus. Judit's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Biomedicine and a Degree in Pharmacy from Universitat de Barcelona.
