Erica Oliveira

Erica Oliveira has extensive work experience in various scientific research roles. Erica began their career as a Laboratory Technician at Saint Dominic's International School Lisboa in 2018. Erica then went on to complete research internships at the Netherlands Forensic Institute and Naturalis Biodiversity Center, where they focused on projects related to DNA barcoding and species delimitation. Currently, they work as the Head Laboratory Technician at the European Sperm Bank.

Erica Oliveira completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic and Criminal Sciences at Egas Moniz School of Health & Science from 2015 to 2018. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology at Leiden University, which they completed from 2019 to 2021.
