Jörg Klora

Jörg Klora is an accomplished leader in information technology and project management, currently serving as the Head of Information and Communication Technology Unit at the European Union Agency for Asylum since February 2024. Prior experience includes a tenure as Head of Information Technologies at ITER Organization, where significant contributions were made to international fusion energy projects. Jörg also led the Computing and Control Division at CELLS, playing a key role in the establishment of Spain's largest research center, ALBA. Additional experience includes consultancy work for Moody's Analytics, leadership of the BLISS Group at the European Radiation Synchrotron Facility, and initial software development endeavors while self-employed. Jörg holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, a Master of Law from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and a PhD in Physics from the Technical University of Munich.
