Prof. Andreas Efstathiou

Prof. Andreas Efstathiou currently serves as Vice Chairman and Secretary at the Ίδρυμα Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας/Research and Innovation Foundation since May 2019. Additionally, Prof. Efstathiou has held the positions of Rector, Professor, and Vice Rector of Research & External Affairs at European University Cyprus since December 2012. Previous experience includes roles as a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London from 1995 to 2001, a research fellow at the University of Hertfordshire from September 1992 to December 1995, and a postdoctoral researcher at Queen Mary, University of London from 1989 to 1992. Prof. Efstathiou earned a BSc(Eng) and PhD from Queen Mary, University of London between 1983 and 1989.
