Sara Marta Esther Bonin

Researcher PHD Student at European University Viadrina

Sara Marta Esther Bonin is an accomplished researcher and educator with extensive experience in multicultural communication, border studies, and youth education. Currently, Sara serves as a research assistant in an INTERREG transfer project at the Viadrina Center B/ORDERS IN MOTION, focusing on the implementation of border information points along the German-Polish border. Additional roles include research assistant for a BMBF project on communicative borderlands and a PhD candidate in the Department of Multicultural Communication at the European University Viadrina, where the thesis addresses the language and belonging of the German minority in Poland. Previous experiences include a fellowship at the Polish Sejm, board membership in the Brandenburg Regional Youth Council, and various roles in intercultural training and youth education. Sara has pursued advanced education in intercultural communication at institutions such as King's College London and the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently working towards a PhD at the European University Viadrina.
