Christopher Sandler

Christopher Sandler has extensive experience in the tank container industry. Christopher started their career at Stolt-Nielsen Limited in 1983, where they held various sales and operations roles. Christopher then became the General Manager/Operations Manager and later the General Manager for the South East Asian market. In these positions, they focused on market development and infrastructure growth, as well as overseeing the acquisition of a company to support the company's growth strategy.

In 1993, they joined the newly created logistics services division at Stolt-Nielsen Limited as the Manager of Logistics Services. Christopher was responsible for implementing internet technology and optimization techniques to enhance customer value. Christopher also managed global operations for multi-modal logistics and played a key role in analyzing customer logistics operations and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Christopher later became the Business Manager for the Tank Container Division, where they managed global business technology and implemented operational process improvements.

In 2000, Sandler joined Optimum Logistics as the Vice President of Sales. Christopher was recruited by the parent-company CEO to develop a strategy for a supply-chain technology business. Christopher focused on global sales, account management, and partnership aspects for the start-up technology endeavor.

In 2010, Sandler became a Board Member of the International Tank Container Organisation (ITCO). Christopher collaborated with board representatives and members to promote the tank container industry's interests, providing strategy development and planning. ITCO, established in 1998, represents the global tank container industry and focuses on safety, regulatory, technical, and environmental issues.

Most recently, Sandler has been working at Eurotainer SA since 2003. Christopher started as the General Manager, overseeing the North and Latin American markets. Eurotainer is a global leader in specialized tank containers, providing advanced support in the chemical, food, gas, and cryogenic industries. In 2020, they were promoted to the position of Managing Director, further contributing to the success and growth of the company.

Christopher Sandler earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Penn State University from 1979 to 1983. Later on, in 1992 and 1993, they pursued their Master's degree in Finance at the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
