Pooya Malek

Pooya Malek has a diverse work experience spanning several industries, with a focus on product design and user experience (UX). Pooya is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at Eurowings Digital, where they are responsible for crafting product strategies and experience visions in the travel and tourism industry. Pooya collaborates with various teams to ensure the development of seamless and personalized web and mobile platforms, utilizing agile methodologies and data-driven decision-making.

Prior to their current role, Pooya worked at ImmoScout24 as a Senior UX Designer, where they demonstrated design leadership and contributed to the design system by defining new components and creating interaction design documentation. Pooya played a key role in increasing new subscriptions for the location analysis product.

Pooya also has experience as an Instructor of User Experience Design at BrainStation, a User Experience Designer at Best Buy Canada, and a UX/UI Designer at Yocale. Additionally, they worked as a UX & Digital Media Designer at Vidigami Media, Inc., focusing on enhancing user experiences. Pooya's early career included roles as a UX Designer/Developer at Simon Fraser University, where they managed information and data for the CPROST website, and as a Grad Student at the Centre for Digital Media.

Throughout their career, Pooya has demonstrated a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a track record of implementing successful design strategies. Pooya is skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing methodologies to create innovative and competitive products.

Pooya Malek completed their Master's degree in Digital Media from the Centre for Digital Media from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Qazvin Islamic Azad University from 2006 to 2011.
