Simon Hinz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. 🚀 Simon began their career as a Student Assistant at Comet-Cine-Center Mönchengladbach GmbH, where they worked from 2007 to 2009. 🚀 Simon then moved on to Sachverständigenbüro Günther Drabben, where they held a similar role from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they also worked as a Student Assistant at MGMG Marketing Gesellschaft Mönchengladbach from 2010 to 2013.

In 2013, Hinz joined trivago, initially as a Global Content & Community member, then as Content - Maps & Geostructure from January to March 2014. 🚀 Simon then took on the role of Product Owner Mobile Development from April 2014 to January 2016 and later served as a Product Manager - Mobile App Projects from January to April 2016. During their time at trivago, Hinz played a crucial role in improving the mobile user experience and significantly increasing the business share of mobile products.

Moving forward, in 2016, Hinz joined .dotkomm GmbH as an Innovationsmanager, focusing on digital transformation and innovation in the insurance and banking sectors. 🚀 Simon worked there until June 2017.

Following that, Hinz became a Product Owner at meinestadt.de GmbH from July to October 2017 before taking on the position of Head of Product at MOQO in November 2017. At MOQO, they led the product development of a customer-centric mobility platform until December 2019.

In 2020, Hinz held multiple roles at Eurowings Digital GmbH. Initially, they started as a Product Owner Flight Booking in March and then transitioned to the role of Product Owner Post Sales & Self-Service in the same company. In these positions, Hinz focused on optimizing the flight booking process, providing relevant information to customers after bookings, and implementing new features and tools, including a digital refund process and a call-center based Free Middle Seat sales process.

Additionally, Hinz had a brief stint as a Product and UX Consultant from January to March 2020.

Simon Hinz completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Information Science and Language Technology from the University of Düsseldorf. 🚀 Simon attended the university from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they studied Industrie- und Produktdesign at Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 2007 to 2008, where they pursued a program called "B.Eng. Industrielles Produktdesign."

In addition to their formal education, Simon Hinz has obtained certifications in specific areas. 🚀 Simon became a "Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)" in March 2015 through the Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, in June 2021, they completed the "Future Shapers for Lufthansa Group" program conducted by Lufthansa.
