Chris Moore CBE has diverse work experience in various roles, primarily in the defense and security sector. Chris is currently the Vice President Defence & Security and Chief Information Security Officer at OneWeb, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President International Government and Trade Engagement at OneWeb from September 2021 to January 2023.
Before joining OneWeb, Chris worked at Defence Digital as the Director of Operations from April 2017 to March 2021. Chris was responsible for the MOD's Global Network operations and cyber defense, as well as leading a service management and cyber security change program.
Chris also had a distinguished career in the Royal Air Force (RAF), serving in various leadership positions. This includes roles such as Air Officer A6/A6 Force Commander and Commanding Officer 90 Signals Unit from 2013 to 2016. Chris also served as Group Captain ICT Capability at RAF from 2011 to 2013 and Officer Commanding Tactical Communications Wing from 2009 to 2011.
Additionally, Chris has experience working in the UK Ministry of Defence, where they held roles including Strategic Resource Planning, Chief operational CIS planner in Afghanistan, and Capability Management from 2002 to 2009.
Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in defense and security operations, strategic planning, information technology, and cyber security.
