Silvio Molinari

Silvio Molinari is an accomplished aerospace engineer with substantial experience in satellite operations and software development. Currently serving as Deputy Mission Director at Eutelsat OneWeb, Silvio leads the operation of a fleet of over 600 satellites, along with developing Python applications and automating processes using Linux. Previously, as a Senior Spacecraft Operations Engineer at ICEYE, Silvio managed a team for 24/7 operation of SAR satellites and enhanced operational efficiency through improved documentation and mentoring. Silvio's career began as a Junior Satellite Operator at TXT e-solutions, where responsibilities included testing safety-critical avionics software. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and a thesis from the University of Glasgow, along with a Bachelor's degree from the former institution.
