Tom Cayford

Tom Cayford is a skilled Spacecraft Operations Engineer at Eutelsat OneWeb since September 2022, with a diverse background that includes experience in guest services and data management. Prior to joining Eutelsat, Tom worked at Le Ski, where responsibilities included resolving guest issues and coordinating airport transfers to enhance client experiences during luxury ski holidays. Tom also contributed to astronomical research at Durham University, focusing on Active Galactic Nuclei and developing a Python package for time correlation analysis. Additional experience includes managing logistics for a COVID-19 test site at Mitie, serving as Treasurer for both the Middle and Junior Common Rooms at St Chad's College, and leadership training as an Officer Cadet in the RAF. Tom holds an MPhys degree in Physics with Astronomy from Durham University.
