Mateus Luiz Freitas Barros has a diverse and extensive work experience in software development. Mateus Luiz started their career in 2015 as an Entry Software Developer at CJr - Empresa Junior de Computacao Unb. There, they gained experience in web development using Ruby on Rails and learned the basics of team management.

Mateus Luiz worked with design and product to gather requirements and break down projects into smaller chunks for quicker feedback loops. Mateus Luiz primarily used Ruby on Rails and React, along with infrastructure tools like Heroku and AWS.

In 2022, Mateus joined Maker AI as a Software Developer. Mateus Luiz'srole was focused on scoping projects, implementing them alongside the team, and applying different design patterns and architectures. Mateus Luiz aimed to improve the testability and add new features to the codebase.

Currently, they are working at Eva People as a Senior Software Developer, starting in 2023.
