Mark Halvorsen has extensive experience in project management and design/drafting roles. Mark started their career in 1998 at Templar Design, where they designed and produced working drawings for commercial and residential projects. Mark then worked as a draftsman and designer at Rockford Developments, where they produced working drawing packages for residential projects. In 2004, they joined Morrison Homes as a designer and draftsman, specializing in residential design and drafting. Mark then moved to CTM Design Services Ltd. in 2005, where they became a project manager, overseeing retail petroleum projects from start to completion. In 2012, they transitioned to Tervita Corp., where they worked as a project manager, leading demolition and remediation projects for retail petroleum sites. Currently, they work at Evans Consoles as a senior project manager and regional team leader, managing control room modular console work station projects. Their responsibilities include project management, creating customer proposals, and overseeing projects through all stages of planning, execution, and completion. Their experience includes managing projects with budgets ranging from $20,000 to $5,000,000.
Mark Halvorsen obtained an Architectural Technology Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) between 1996 and 1999. In 2009, they attended Mount Royal University for a year to pursue a Project Management Certificate without completing a degree.
