James Gray

James Gray is an accomplished educator and leader currently serving as Principal of the Evanston/Skokie School District 65 since August 2019. In addition to this role, James is the Creator and Co-Host of The Ed Couple, a platform that promotes educational discussion. Previously, James founded Coach House Consultants, providing leadership coaching and support to various educational organizations from July 2017 to August 2019. James's extensive experience in education includes serving as Principal and Assistant Principal at Chicago Public Schools from 2001 to 2017, where responsibilities included managing and evaluating staff as well as leading school initiatives. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from DePaul University, and a Superintendent's Endorsement and Type 75 Administrator Endorsement from Loyola University Chicago and DePaul University, respectively.
