Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams, PHR has a strong background in human resources, with their most recent role being the Executive Director of Human Resources at the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation since 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at the same organization, including Human Resources Director from 2015 to 2022, Director of Human Resources - Non-Certified Staff from 2011 to 2015, and HR Specialist from 2008 to 2011. Before joining the school corporation, Michelle worked as an Account Manager at Purdue University from 2006 to 2008.

Michelle Williams, PHR, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Management, Human Resources, and Marketing from Purdue University from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications over the years. In January 2011, they achieved the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In February 2015, Michelle obtained the IASBO Human Resources Specialist certification from the Indiana Association of School Business Officials. In December 2015, they obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM. Lastly, in April 2016, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Purdue University.
