Christian Garde

Christian Garde has been employed in the field of bioinformatics since 2008. Christian began their career as a PhD student at the Technical University of Denmark, where they also served as a teaching assistant and research assistant. In 2015, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research. Since 2017, they have been employed at Evaxion Biotech A/S, where they have held the roles of Director, Bioinformatics, Principal Scientist, Bioinformatics, and Bioinformatics Specialist.

Christian Garde completed their High School Diploma at Gladsaxe Gymnasium in 2005. Christian then attended DTU - Technical University of Denmark, receiving a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biomedical Engineering in 2008. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biomedical Engineering, Signal and Model Based Diagnostics in 2011. In 2014, they completed a research stay at Washington University in St. Louis in the Stormo Laboratory. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics from DTU in 2015.
