Gry Persson

Gry Persson has been working in the field of biotechnology since 2008. In 2008, they started as a Bachelor Student at the University of Copenhagen. Gry then went on to earn their Cand.scient Biotechnology from the same university in 2010. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Ph.D. student and Research assistant at the University of Copenhagen. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Postdoc and Research coordinator at Zealand University Hospital, Roskilde. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Project Manager at Evaxion Biotech A/S.

Gry Persson has an extensive education history. In 2008, they completed a Bachelor of Science from The Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Copenhagen in the field of Identification of Streptococcus equi subsp. zooepidemicus from equine endometritis by multiplex PCR. They then went on to complete a Master of Science from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2012, where they gained knowledge regarding pathogenic bacteria, bioinformatics, pharmacology and toxicology. They also completed a course in Immunological bioinformatics from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2012 and a course in Project Management from RM Academy in 2012. In 2013, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in Molecular bacteriology and infection. In 2021, they completed a course in Project management 1: Manage your project from Implement and in 2022, they completed a course in Project management 2: Lead your team from Implement. Additionally, Gry Persson holds certifications in PRINCE2 Project Management from RM Acadamy obtained in May 2012 and Laboratory animal science. Certificate C from Unviversity of Copenhagen.
