Mads Lausen

Mads Lausen has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Mads began as a Student Assistant at Aalborg University in 2014, followed by a Research Student at Aalborg Universitetshospital in 2013. Mads then held the position of Teaching Assistant at Aalborg University in 2015 and a Research Assistant and PhD-fellow at the same university from 2016-2020. Most recently, they have been a Postdoctoral Researcher at Rigshospitalet since 2020 and will become a Senior Scientist at Evaxion Biotech A/S in 2022.

Mads Lausen completed their upper secondary exam at Haderslev Katedralskole in 2009. Mads then attended Aalborg University from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Medicine with Industrial Specialization degree. Mads returned to Aalborg University from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Medicine with Industrial Specialization degree, with a focus on Biomedicine. Mads then continued their studies at Aalborg University from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Immunology and Microbiology.
