Thomas Schmidt

Thomas Frederik Schmidt is an experienced executive in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Global Executive and Chief Financial Officer for Healthcare since January 2024. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Ambu A/S from June 2022 and was on gardening leave as of January 2024. Thomas’s extensive career at Roche, spanning from August 1998 to May 2022, included roles such as Managing Director for Roche Pharma Switzerland, CFO for Roche Pharma AG in Germany, and Senior Vice President Finance for Roche Professional Diagnostics. Thomas also served as Operations Director in Thailand and Area Director in Corporate Finance for the Asia Pacific region. Earlier experience includes positions at PwC as a Senior Accountant. Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics & Auditing and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
