Bonface Ochieng has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Bonface'smost recent position is as a Senior Software Support Engineer at EVBox, which they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Musoni System from 2018 to 2022, where they held two roles: Senior System Analyst and Service Coordinator Africa. In these roles, they acted as a liaison between global clients and the development team, resolved issues and suggestions for system enhancements, and performed technical support and maintenance of digital banking solutions.

Before Musoni System, Bonface worked at PATH from 2017 to 2018 as a Health Management Information System Officer, where they maintained data backup and archival procedures. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at LakeHub as a Project Manager and Mentor, where they trained and mentored young girls in launching a mobile startup. One of the teams they mentored made it to the final stage of a competition in San Francisco, USA.

In these roles, they coordinated activities, organized youth events, and provided IT assistance.

Additionally, they obtained three certifications from LinkedIn, including "Linux System Engineer: Bash Shell Scripting for Automation," "Reinventing You with Debbie Millman," and "Designing RESTful APIs" in the year 2022.
