Loïc Boudain is an experienced engineer with a background in vehicle and engine testing. Loïc started their career at Faurecia as a Thermodynamics Engineer, where they worked on heat recovery systems for heavy-duty vehicles. Loïc then joined Universitat Politècnica de València as a Control System Engineer trainee.
In 2017, Loïc moved to Groupe PSA as an Engine Test Engineer, focusing on monitoring engine actuators and sensors during the calibration process. Loïc developed a procedure to detect and visualize deviations in precision and accuracy.
Loïc then joined Jaguar Land Rover, first as an Engine Design Validation Test Engineer, where they contributed to the next generation of engines by testing and analyzing data to validate their attributes. Later, they became an Engine Deep Data Analysis Engineer, responsible for analyzing engine data and providing risk assessment or test cycle validation.
In 2021, Loïc joined IVECO as a Vehicle Test Engineer, specializing in powertrain attributes validation. Loïc worked on next-generation city and intercity buses, validating vehicle performance, hybrid system strategies and features, and thermal management.
Most recently, Loïc joined EVBox in 2023 as an Embedded Firmware Test Engineer. Further information about this role is not available.
Throughout their career, Loïc has gained expertise in data analysis, programming, hybrid management knowledge, and engine design validation processes. Loïc has used various software including Concerto, INCA, Matlab, Visual Basics, and Excel.
Loïc Boudain completed their education chronologically as follows:
From 2008 to 2011, they attended Lycée Max Linder and obtained their Baccalauréat S option Sciences de l'Ingénieur (Baccalaureate in Engineering Sciences).
From 2011 to 2014, they studied at Lycée Louis Barthou and completed Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Écoles (Preparatory class for top engineering schools) with a focus on Maths, Physics, and Engineering Sciences.
In 2014, they achieved a Master's degree in Energetique Propulsion Electronique et Environnement (EPEE) from ISAT.
In the same year, they obtained certification in Habilitation Electrique - Véhicule Electrique & Hybride (Electrical Permit - Electric & Hybrid Vehicles) from SCIO Conseil & Formation.
In 2016, they participated in an Erasmus semester at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), specifically studying Mechanical Engineering for one semester.
Overall, Loïc Boudain's education history includes a Baccalauréat, Classe Préparatoire, Master's degree, and an additional certification in electrical permit related to electric and hybrid vehicles.
