Neil Wan

Neil Wan has extensive experience in the field of battery system research and development. Neil served as the Senior Director of Battery System Research & Development at Eve Energy Co. Ltd. where they focused on product and technical solutions for various battery systems. Neil headed a large team of 400 staff members and was responsible for developing solutions for BMS components, automotive low voltage, and high voltage battery systems for commercial vehicles. Prior to that, Neil worked as the E/E Department Director at Eve Energy Co. Ltd. and as a Senior System Engineer at Preh Group. Neil also gained experience as a System Engineer Electronics at UAES, where they played a key role in the development of ECU systems for internal combustion engines and subsequently joined a team dedicated to VCU and BMS development for electric vehicles.

Neil Wan completed their educational journey with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Energy Management and Systems Technology/Technician from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology. This academic pursuit took place from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Energy Management and Systems Technology/Technician from Xi'an Jiaotong University from 2004 to 2009.
