Guanghui Hu

Guanghui Hu is a seasoned professional in the biotech industry, currently serving as a Venture Partner at Viva BioInnovator since January 2022, where responsibilities include investing in global biotech innovations and holding interim leadership roles in multiple companies. As a Founding Partner at Westfield BioVentures, initiated in February 2021, Guanghui Hu focuses on creating and accelerating startups in biotech and healthcare, while also taking on interim CEO roles for several ventures. Previously, Guanghui Hu was the President & CEO of Admera Health from July 2014 to January 2021, recognized as the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2020 for New Jersey. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Azenta Life Sciences, Merck, GlaxoSmithKline, Roche, and academic work at UCLA. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Structural and Computational Biology from Baylor College of Medicine and a BS in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology from Tsinghua University.
