Ashok Thariyan

Ashok Thariyan has extensive work experience in the field of design, with a focus on product management and UI/UX design. Ashok is currently serving as the Head of Design at Even since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Director Design at Vedantu from January 2021 to August 2021. From April 2020 to December 2020, they held the position of Head of Design at Grofers. Before that, they worked at Grofers in various roles including Principal Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, and Product Manager from 2018 to 2020. Ashok also served as a UI/UX Designer at Grofers from 2015 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a UI/UX Designer at Housing.com from June 2014 to March 2015. Ashok started their professional journey as a student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, pursuing a Bachelors of Design degree from July 2010 to May 2014. Ashok also gained valuable experience as a UX Design Intern at Google in 2013, where they worked on redesigning the Google Mapmaker profile page. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Intern in product design at the Defence Research and Development Organisation in 2012, where they designed a concept for a portable infantry footbridge.

Ashok Thariyan completed their Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction from IIT Guwahati between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they attended Rajagiri Public School from 1995 to 2009, where they completed their high school education with a focus on Computer Science.
