Manita Philipsen

Manita Philipsen has a diverse work experience in various creative and event management roles. Manita is currently the Head of Content at Easyfairs Netherlands, where they have been since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Events B2C at the same company from September 2016 to September 2020.

In addition to their work at Easyfairs, Manita has also worked as a Gastdocent at Hoornbeeck College, teaching 'Evenementen Organisatie' from December 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Easyfairs, Manita worked as a Product Developer at Avec B.V. from February 2014 to July 2016. Manita also had their own business called Paper Memories, where they served as the owner of the scrapbook magazine from February 2014 to August 2015. Their responsibilities included editorial content, photography, advertising sales, and event coordination.

Manita's previous experience includes working as a Freelance Designer for Uitgeverij Scala BV from January 2010 to November 2014. Manita was responsible for creating content for various creative magazines in the company's portfolio.

Manita also worked as an Event Coordinator for Dé beursorganisatie from March 2012 to September 2014, where they organized creative events and served as the Head of the magazine "Creatief met Foto's" for a short period from March 2012 to August 2012.

Furthermore, Manita has experience as a Sales Manager at Creatief Centrum Heesch, a papercraft store, where they were responsible for the overall management of the store, sales, procurement, workshop organization, marketing, and visual merchandising from January 2010 to November 2011.

Manita Philipsen completed their Master's degree in Executive Leadership for Marketeers from SRM from 2020 to 2021. Prior to this, they obtained an MBO degree in Manager Tourism/Events from Middenkaderfunctionaris Reizen en Evenementen from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they attended TMO Fashion Business School in 2006 for Visual Merchandising and in 2005 for Gezond lopen adviseur - Schoenspecialist, although they did not earn a degree during these periods.
