Grainne Clarke

Grainne Clarke is an experienced professional in the cinema and events industry, currently serving as a Business Development Manager at Cineworld Cinemas Ltd since April 2024, and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Event Cinema Association since August 2022. Previously, Grainne held the role of Business Development and Events Manager at Empire Cinemas from July 2022 to December 2023 and was the Managing Director for the Event Cinema Association from October 2018 to June 2022. Additionally, Grainne worked as a Policy Executive at the UK Cinema Association from December 2013 to April 2022 and has a background in fundraising and development management at MediCinema from January 2008 to December 2013, where Grainne also held roles as Development Officer and Charity Support Officer. Grainne Clarke earned a BSc in Social Work from the University of Bristol, completing studies from 2002 to 2005, and attended Cleeve School in Cheltenham from 1994 to 2001.
