Joyce van Heeswijk

Joyce van Heeswijk is currently serving as a Huisarts in opleiding at SBOH since September 2023. With extensive experience in various medical roles since 2016, Joyce has worked as a physician at Event Medical Service B.V. and held positions at multiple hospitals including Elkerliek ziekenhuis as ANIOS Acute Zorg and Catharina Ziekenhuis as ANIOS Geriatrie. Previous roles include Junior Triagist at Huisartsenpost HOV and a choice assistant in Emergency Care at Elisabeth-TweeSteden Ziekenhuis. Joyce has a strong academic background from Radboud University, where a Master of Science in Medicine was obtained, alongside earlier degrees in Biomedical Sciences. Additionally, Joyce has contributed to research and education as a student assistant and mentor, reflecting a commitment to medical advancement and mentorship in the field.
