Senior UX Research Manager at Eventbrite

Grace Ascuasiati has a diverse work experience in the field of UX research and design. Grace started their career in 2015 as a Senior Design Researcher at Spring Studio and worked there until 2017. Grace then joined BBVA as a Lead Design Strategist from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Senior UX Researcher at Geoblink and also served as a Design Research professor at IED Madrid from 2018 to 2019. From 2019 to 2020, Grace served as the Head of Research at Design Transformation, where they focused on in-sourcing innovation and building customer-centric cultures. Grace also worked as a Visiting Faculty at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design during this time. In 2019, they took up the role of Research Manager at Santander Universidades until 2021. Grace then joined IE School of Human Sciences and Technology (HST) as an Adjunct Professor in 2020. Grace is currently working at Eventbrite, where they started as a Principal UX Researcher in 2021 and was later promoted to the role of Senior UX Research Manager in 2022. Additionally, they are also working as a UX Research teacher at LA NAVE NODRIZA since December 2021.

Grace Ascuasiati has a diverse educational background, with a focus on marketing intelligence and strategic planning. Grace obtained a Master's degree in Marketing Intelligence from ESIC Business & Marketing School from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed two Expert programs at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, specializing in Creativity and Strategic Planning in 2006-2007, and Consumer Sociology and Market Research in 2005-2006.

In 2012, Grace attended AIPC Pandora for a Curso Avanzado de Participación y Desarrollo, although the specific field of study is not mentioned. Furthermore, they hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, which they earned from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena between 1998 and 2003.

Additionally, Grace Ascuasiati has obtained a certification in "Change by Design" from IDEO U in May 2019.
