Marc Catala Boix has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marc started their career as a Recruitment Consultant at Adecco Recruitment, Sales and Marketing, where they specialized in technical, sales, and management positions. Marc was responsible for the entire recruitment process, including CV screening, interviews, and reporting. From 2007 to 2008, Marc worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Nortempo, where they managed the recruitment department and built strong client relationships.

In 2009, Marc transitioned to the role of Fraud Analyst at Western Union (FEXCO), where they were the online security contact point for the UK, Irish, and Spanish markets. Marc performed security processes and investigations to validate online transactions.

From 2010 to 2018, Marc worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., in various roles. Marc started as a Sales and Service Associate, handling international calls, resolving complaints, and promoting customer loyalty. Marc then progressed to become a Sales and Service Team Leader, where they led and mentored a team of up to 15 associates, achieving exceptional team performance and increasing call conversion rates.

In 2013, Marc was promoted to Sales and Service Supervisor, responsible for monitoring and evaluating team performance and providing ongoing training and coaching. Marc later became a Senior Specialist for Consumer Affairs/Guest Experience Intelligence, where they liaised with global hotel management teams and internal departments to resolve risk-related concerns and improve guest experiences. Marc acted on behalf of senior leadership, including the CEO.

Currently, Marc is working as a Payments Operations Specialist at Eventbrite, starting in 2019.

Marc Catala Boix completed their Bachelor's Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Universitat Jaume I from the year 2001 to 2005. Marc then pursued a Master's Degree in Human Resources at the same university from the year 2005 to 2006.
