Vanessa Kafka

Vanessa Kafka has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Vanessa is currently the VP of Product, Consumer at Eventbrite, which they started in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Tinyhood, Inc. as the Head of Product from March 2022 to October 2022. From August 2021 to August 2022, Vanessa was a Member at Chief, an organization focused on empowering senior women leaders.

Before their current roles, Vanessa held multiple positions at KAYAK, starting as a Product Manager in October 2014. Vanessa later became the Director of Product from May 2015 to May 2016, VP of Product Management from May 2016 to August 2020, and eventually the SVP of Product from August 2020 to March 2022.

Earlier in their career, Vanessa worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at Wayfair from February 2014 to October 2014 and as the General Manager of Boston at Hailo from June 2012 to December 2013.

Vanessa began their career as an Enterprise Product Marketing Intern at Adobe in 2011 and worked as an Advisory Services Senior at EY from August 2006 to August 2010. Vanessa also served as a Marketing Designer at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts from October 2003 to July 2006.

Vanessa Kafka began their education in 2002 at the University of Connecticut, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems in 2006. After working in the professional field for a few years, they pursued further education and completed an MBA program at the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2010 to 2012. In 2015, Vanessa attended General Assembly to study Front-End Web Development.
