Abhik Roy

Abhik Roy is a Software Engineer currently working at Eventeny since January 2024, contributing to the eventeny platform across the stack. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the RIT computational biomedicine lab, where Abhik led a study on deep learning applications in MRI imaging for predicting sudden cardiac death risk. Abhik has also worked as an Application Developer at Amici, implementing features for an iOS app using React Native, GraphQL, Node, and Express.js, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for an introductory artificial intelligence course at Rochester Institute of Technology. Additionally, experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego involved implementing an image classification pipeline for camera trap data. Abhik's early career included an internship focused on robotic process automation at Datamatics Global Services Limited. Abhik holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC San Diego and a Master of Science in Computer Science, along with an Advanced Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Rochester Institute of Technology.
