David Baylies

David Baylies is an accomplished audio engineer with a robust background in audio software and hardware engineering, currently working at Eventide since August 2018. Previously, David served as a studio monitor at New York University, where responsibilities included managing music technology studio equipment and assisting users. At Boston University, David designed an electronic trumpet while also supporting students as a learning assistant in static mechanics. Additionally, David contributed to a mechanical design team that created autonomous boats and gained early experience as a kindergarten aide. David holds a Master’s degree in Music Technology from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.
