David Jin

David Jin has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. David began their career as a Software Developer at IBM in 2009. David later worked as a Software Developer at Orbis Client Services in 2010. In 2011, they joined UBC as a Teaching Assistant, where they stayed until 2013. During their time at UBC, they also worked as a Research Assistant. David then joined Avanade as a Solution Developer in 2013 and stayed with the company until 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Machine Learning Scientist at 飯了么. Currently, David is working as a Data Scientist at EvenUp since December 2021.

David Jin attended The University of British Columbia from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a MSC degree in CS (Computer Science). David has also completed several additional certifications, including the Canadian Securities Course (CSC®) from the Canadian Securities Institute in November 2021. In 2017, they completed the Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions certification from Microsoft. Additionally, they obtained the MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 certification from Microsoft in 2013.
