Our applications will focus on enabling our users to provide time-critical, life-saving communications to residents and businesses utilizing our risk intelligence, visualization, and alerting platforms.

What You'll Do:

  • Work collaboratively with a global team of full-stack developers and UI Designers.
  • Develop using modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Java, Python)
  • Develop using modern platform technologies (Kubernetes, Serverless, AWS)
  • Participate in Scrum processes
  • Work across the entire Everbridge platform, implementing new capabilities
  • Collaborate across engineering teams and guide adoption of best practices within the team
  • Participate in routine maintenance of the system to include software deficiency resolution
  • Willingness to learn new skills and technologies

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience with front-end development using JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React)
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development in a Java or Python full-stack environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in a cloud-based deployment environment (e.g. AWS)
  • 2+ years experience with containerization (e.g. – Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Ability to take UI designs and implement them into a structured frontend framework.
  • Experience working with DevOps automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, salt)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while also being able to work closely with team members and collaborate with other teams.

Bonus If:

  • Experience working with TypeScript
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience with geospatial technologies
  • Experience working with public safety projects
  • Systems experience (e.g. Linux, AWS VPC, IAM, etc.)
