Chelsea Nelson has a diverse work experience in event management and guest services. Most recently, they worked as an Event Marketing Manager at EVERFI. Before that, they held roles at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where they were an Assistant Director of Events and Boards and a Special Events Coordinator. Prior to that, they were a Private Events Manager at The Country Club of Landfall and a Director of Events at Beau Rivage Golf & Resort. Chelsea began their career as a Guest Services Manager at Crestline Hotels & Resorts and also worked as an Assistant Event Coordinator at The Upper Room 1871. Chelsea has extensive experience in managing events, coordinating services, and leading teams.

Chelsea Nelson has a Master's degree (M.A.) in Integrated Marketing Communication from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Chelsea obtained this degree between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Media Studies, with a minor in Broadcast Journalism, from Wingate University. Chelsea attended Wingate University from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, Chelsea has a Professional Event Planning Certification from IAOTS Courses For Success, which they obtained in July 2015.
