Jenny Nakamura

Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships at EVERFI

Jenny Nakamura has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Biology Teacher and Class of 2012 Senior Advisor at Friendly High School as part of their role in Teach For America. From 2010 to 2012, Jenny was a Curriculum Writer for Prince George's County Public Schools. In 2011, they served as a Faculty Advisor at the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine for Envision EMI. Jenny then joined the Japanese Exchange and Teaching Program in 2012 as an Assistant Language Teacher. In 2013, they began their tenure at EVERFI initially as a Schools Manager, later being promoted to Senior Schools Manager. Jenny then transitioned to regional roles, serving as the K12 Regional Director for the Mid-Atlantic Region before becoming the K12 Senior Regional Director. Most recently, Jenny holds the position of Senior Director, K-12 Programs and currently serves as the Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships at EVERFI from August 2021 onwards.

Jenny Nakamura holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from Virginia Tech. Jenny also has a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from American University. However, no specific start or end years for either degree program are provided.
