Pooja Makadia-Patel has a diverse work experience that includes roles in education, recruiting, and campaign management. Pooja started their career as a Research Assistant Intern at Rutgers Child Study Center in 2015. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Assistant Teacher at Edgar Child Care Center, where they assisted the Lead Teacher in toddler and preschool rooms. In 2016, they worked as a Recruiter at Workbridge Associates, specializing in placing iOS and Python Developers. In the same year, they also worked as a Teacher at John Kenney Child Care Center, implementing and following the Highscope Curriculum for preschool children. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Campaign Assistant/Recruiter for the Student Series program at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, managing various aspects of school recruitment and administration. Pooja'smost recent role is at EVERFI, where they started as a K-12 Implementation Specialist in February 2019 and has been promoted to Lead K-12 Implementation Specialist as of October 2021. In this role, they actively manage accounts for schools in New Jersey and New York, utilizing Salesforce to record and manage activity with over 800 school partners, and providing ongoing support at the school and district level.

Pooja Makadia-Patel completed their education at Rutgers University from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Prior to that, they graduated from John P. Stevens High School in 2011, obtaining their High School Diploma.
