Lauro Erandio

Lauro Erandio has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Lauro began their career in 2006 as a Chief Engineer at J. Lauritzen A/S, where they were responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of vessels. Lauro also served as a Vessel Manager, overseeing the performance, condition, and maintenance of assigned vessels. In 2017, Lauro joined Evergas as a Chief Engineer. Most recently, in 2023, they took on the role of Chief Engineer at Seapeak.

Lauro Erandio attended the Philippine Merchant Marine School from 1980 to 1982, where they pursued a degree in Marine Engineering. Lauro'sfield of study focused on engineering principles related to maritime operations. In November 2014, they obtained a certification in Accident Investigation in Shipping - Analysis and Root Cause from DNV GL, an institution specializing in maritime safety and quality assurance.
