Leigh Foster

Leigh Foster is the current Chief Financial Officer at Evergen. Prior to Evergen, Leigh worked on a career break, walking nearly 8,000km in the 12 months from October 2018 to October 2019. Leigh hiked two of the world's premier long distance trails during their career break - the Te Araroa trail in New Zealand and the Pacific Crest Trail in the U.S.A.

After their career break, Leigh became a Project Manager at KOTRA, working on a bookkeeping app for Riel. Leigh then moved to SHE Investments, where they worked from November 2019 to December 2021.

Leigh Foster has a financial analysis certificate from the University of Technology Sydney, a graduate diploma of chartered accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and a bachelor of commerce in accounting from the University of Wollongong.

They are on a team with Jena Turner - Head, Marketing, Rakhesh Martyn - VPP Product Manager, and Stephen Pritchard - Senior Electrical Engineer. Their manager is Ben Hutt, CEO & MD.
