Alexandre S Soares has gained comprehensive work experience in the technology industry, spanning over three decades.

Starting in 1990, Soares worked at Amplus/Eden, Eden Sistemas, and Eden_Eicon as a Systems Engineer, where they provided pre and post-sales support for various products.

In 1995, Soares joined Cisco Brasil Ltda as a Systems Engineer, engaging in pre-sales project definitions and serving as a focal point for partners in the Latin American region. Later, they relocated to Cisco's headquarters in the USA and acted as the escalation systems engineer for the Latin American Gold Partners group.

Continuing with Cisco, Soares transitioned to a global role as a Systems Engineer, responsible for defining projects to be delivered by partners, leveraging Cisco's solutions and acquired companies.

In 2002, Soares joined NetScreen Technologies as a Systems Engineer for LatAm, developing channels, customers, and distributors. NetScreen was subsequently acquired by Juniper Networks, where they continued as a Systems Engineer until 2010. During this period, they contributed to the development and definition of networking projects, conducted product demonstrations and tests, and delivered technical and product trainings to end users and partners.

From 2010 to 2019, Soares was employed by Silver Spring Networks as a Systems Engineer. During this time, they were incorporated into Itron LatAm team and promoted to the position of Systems Engineer Manager. Their responsibilities included the consolidation of different business units, partnering with third-party solution providers, structuring the SE team, empowering the SE LatAm organization, participating in major discussions and deals with key customers, developing webinars, and building business cases.

Finally, Soares is currently working as a Sales Engineer at Evergent, Inc. from 2021.

Alexandre S Soares attended Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie from 1988 to 1991, where they pursued a degree in Technology in Data Processing.
