Don Smith

Don Smith has over 25 years of work experience, primarily in the telecommunications industry. Don currently works at Evergent, Inc. as a Presales Solutions Architect. Prior to that, they were with Amdocs as a Solution Sales Lead, where they provided product and industry knowledge for new revenue streams at US and Japan cable companies. At IBM, Don held the role of Associate Partner, where they provided sales, solutioning, and delivery excellence support for the Telecom, Media & Entertainment industry. Don also worked with the team in Japan, providing industry solution expertise and project advice for over 2 years. Before that, at Accenture, they served as a Senior Principal, extending global solutions to Japan's CSP market and managing consulting projects for KDDI and other carriers. Don also worked at IBM earlier in their career, where they led proposals and projects as a Telecom Oracle Center of Excellence Leader and served as a Senior Managing Consultant. Additionally, Don has experience at Patni Computer Systems as a Principal Solution Architect, at Portal Software as a Solution Manager and Business Development Manager, at KVH Telecom as an IS Billing/Finance Manager, and at Fujitsu as a Business Development Manager. Throughout their career, Don has demonstrated expertise in pre-sales, solutioning, project management, and business development within the telecommunications industry.

Don Smith attended Hemet High School from 1980 to 1984. Afterward, they pursued their interest in biology by studying at Mt San Jacinto College from 1984 to 1986. However, no specific degree was mentioned in relation to their education at these institutions.
