Bryan Olthof, PE, PMP has a diverse and extensive work experience in engineering and project management. Bryan is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at BioBrew since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at EverGrain Ingredients starting from July 2021.

Bryan collaborated extensively with R&D to scale processes from lab to industrial scale.

Bryan also gained valuable experience at Imperium Renewables as a Senior Project Engineer from 2007 to 2008. Their responsibilities included the design, construction, start-up, and operation of the largest biodiesel refinery in North America. Bryan also managed various R&D trials on upstream processes.

Early in their career, Bryan worked at the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer from 2003 to 2007, implementing U.S. economic, energy, environmental, science, and health foreign policies. Prior to that, they worked at Fluor Daniel as a Process Engineer from 2000 to 2003, where they focused on the preliminary and detailed design, construction, and start-up of biopharmaceutical manufacturing and R&D facilities.

Throughout their career, Bryan has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills, contributing to the successful execution of various complex engineering projects in the biotechnology, renewable energy, and government sectors.

Bryan Olthof, PE, PMP has a strong educational background in Chemical Engineering. Bryan obtained their B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, where they attended from 1992 to 1996. Following their undergraduate studies, Bryan pursued further education and earned their M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Bryan completed this program from 1996 to 1998.

In addition to their academic achievements, Bryan also holds two important certifications. Bryan is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in June 2019.
