Brian Hawtin

Brian Hawtin has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Brian started their career in 1993 as a Research and Development Analyst at Fiserv GalaxyPlus and worked there until 1998. From 1998 to 2017, they held various roles at Wayne State University Physician Group, including IDX Systems Analyst, IDX Development Manager, and Director of Practice Management Systems. In 2018, Brian became self-employed as an Independent Consultant, supporting GE Centricity/Athenahealthcare clients until 2020. Most recently, from 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Principal Consultant at Evergreen Healthcare Partners, providing support for EPIC Professional Billing Resolute and GE Centricity clients. Brian's responsibilities included a range of tasks such as month end processing, report production and distribution, business intelligence reporting, and IT support and development projects.

Brian Hawtin pursued their education at Lake Superior State University from 1979 to 1981, where they earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Brian then attended Central Michigan University from 1981 to 1983, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
