Roberta Kunkel

Roberta Kunkel is the Dean of Library & Learning Resources, Non Credit, Dual Enrollment & Strategic Initiatives at Evergreen Valley College. Roberta has over 20 years of experience in higher education, including teaching, administration, and student services.

Previously, they were the Director of the Valley Community SBDC at Clovis Community College, where they served the counties of Fresno, Madera, Kings, and Tulare counties. Roberta was also the Dean of Instruction, CTE at Clovis Community College and the Dean, Academic Pathways and Student Success at Merritt College.

At Evergreen Valley College, Kunkel is responsible for overseeing the library and learning resources, non-credit programs, dual enrollment programs, and strategic initiatives. Roberta is passionate about providing access to quality education and ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed.

Roberta Kunkel works with Robert Gutierrez - Dean of Language Arts, Tina Nguyen - Academic Services Supervisor, and Brad Carothers - Dean of Social Sciences, Humanities, Arts & Physical Education. Roberta Kunkel reports to Matais Pouncil, VP of Academic Affairs.
