Heather Humphrey

Heather Humphrey serves as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Evergy since July 2018, while also holding the Director position at Evergy Ventures and the Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation. Prior to these roles, Heather was the General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Corporate Services at Great Plains Energy/Kansas City Power & Light, overseeing strategy, budgeting, and long-term planning across various corporate functions. Heather's prior experience includes significant legal and human resources roles at Shughart Thomson & Kilroy and a clerkship with the Missouri Supreme Court. Educational background includes a JD from Washington University in St. Louis, an MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and participation in the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth.
