Jim Aldrich

Jim Aldrich has over eight years of experience in safety operations and management within the power generation and distribution industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Safety Operations at Evergy since October 2017, Jim oversees a team of safety professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Previous roles include Lead Corporate Safety Program Consultant, where Jim enhanced safety culture and management systems, and Lead Safety Coordinator for Power Distribution, focusing on compliance and risk mitigation. Prior experience at Kansas City Power & Light also includes contributions as a Safety Coordinator and two internships in safety management. In earlier positions, Jim held roles in quality assurance and production supervision across various manufacturing sectors. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from the University of Central Missouri and a certificate in Welding Technology from Metropolitan Community College.
